In the Thinking of You Music Video, there is a clear 80′s electric keyboard sound and it totally reminds me of all my favorite 80′s movies. The catchy synth beat paried with the chorus makes me want to put my bejewled denim jacket off and rock out. The music video has a cute storyline where the artist has a crush on the school’s jock. I have been practicing how to draw roses in my mother’s rose garden for the last few weeks. I do not live with her usually, but she is recovering from knee surgery and asked me to come stay with her for the first month after the surgery. She is recovering very well, and we are actually using her rose garden as a bit of a training course. For the first two weeks she could not get out of the house at all, but in the last few days she has gotten strong enough to make it to the first bench by the door. She likes being able to sit outside and see how the garden is doing. Yesterday she made it to one of the benches by the first bed of rose bushes, so she could sit and smell them and touch the blooms for awhile. Tomorrow she wants to try a two phase attempt to get all the way to the far bench by the back wall.
