We as a People are living off the heritage and bank account of invested
individuals. Individuals of principle and character. Individuals who gave
"Their Lives, Their Fortunes and Their Sacred Honor" for the purpose of
establishing a culture committed to "One Nation under God", committed to
"Life, Liberty and Property".
Two hundred and Twenty Five years later this heritage and bank account are
scarcely seen... swallowed by a governance hostile to its vision and
deliberate in its purposes. We live in a Country fast losing its moral
bearing and in a State which is driven to redefine the very fabric of the
Family.
Frederic Bastiat, a great French Philosopher of the mid-nineteenth century,
spoke about the dangers of "the conversion of Law into an instrument of
plunder... When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has
the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his
respect for the law." No wonder people are confused and have lost their
political bearings.
